Nowadays horses are distributed worldwide. Replace them cars, buses and tractors, but they will exist as long as there are people. The horse is a very important part of the history of almost all nations. Many people have dedicated their lives to horses and as many love it.

Young and Old





Mares, the female horses, give birth after 11 months, and a young horse, called a foal, can stand and run shortly following birth. Most domesticated horses begin training under saddle or in harness between the ages of two and four. They reach full adulthood by age five, and have an average lifespan of between 25 and 30 years.

Roaming Free



Horses' anatomy enables them to make use of speed to escape predators and they have a well-developed sense of balance and a strong fight-or-flight instinct. Related to this need to flee from predators in the wild is an unusual trait: horses are able to sleep both standing up and lying down.

A Symbol Freedom


Paleontologist suggest that the first horses evolved in North America millions of years ago. Since then they have migrated to Asia, where they were domisticated. Since then the horses were always a symbol of social status and freedom.
